- Epoxy coated silver grey steel panels with glass and timber infill form the atrium and bridge balustrades
- Stair balustrades feature stainless steel stanchions and handrail
- Tapered flat bar stainless steel stanchions with glass infill surround the escalator void
- Stainless steel - flat bar balusters and tube handrail capturing the nautical feel of the promenade

Spiral Staircases

Metal Cladding
Fabmetal can clad features such as walls, lifts, panels, building facades, columns and canopies in a variety of materials and a choice of metal finishes. We laminate our materials to ensure impact resistance and rigidness is kept to a minimum. Some materials such as cooking splashbacks, require a special heat resistant board to comply with BCA requirements. Some previous cladding applications include:
- Satin finish stainless steel and natural anodised aluminium panels forming feature walls in the refurbishment of a building
- The new Bio 21 building for Melbourne University, which fronts Flemington Road, has stainless steel clad toilet pods incorporated into its design.
- A feature of the cladding is the spherical wedge and curved panels forming the interface between vertical and horizontal elements
- Coloured glass and stainless steel feature walls and columns
- Mirror finish stainless steel with water-knifed lettering are a feature of the directory boards on the ground floor of a large office building.
